The scientists used an intestinal disease in mice chemically induced by dextran sodium sulphate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Huaier significantly reduced intestinal inflammation as evidenced by labeled reduction of a number of cytokines including TNF-\u03b1, IL-6, IFN-\u03b3 and IL-1\u03b2 in colonic tissue.
