The Victron Multiplus II ran perfectly the entire time. Suddenly it shows "Overload" and switches off, only to switch on again immediately afterwards - and, after a while, play the same game again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overload? Too much load? A look at that Victron Cerbo GX Touch Panel<\/em> only shows around 300 W AC load. Then why overload? About 80 W comes in via PV, so no real overload.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you observe the circumstances more closely, you will notice that the error always occurs when the sun is shining at full strength. So what does the sun have to do with overload?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, Victron Cerbo GX<\/em> and the devices connected to each other control each other intelligently. Sometimes more intelligent than the user...<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because when the batteries are full and the PV is supplying electricity, the Multiplus does not know what to do with the excess electricity and as a result feels \u201coverloaded\u201d with the task. Does this mean that you have to switch off the PV modules? No, because the control system can do that Victron Cerbo GX<\/em> much better. However, you have to tell it in the settings that it also has a DC source.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So on Victron Cerbo GX Touch Panel<\/em> Call up the menu, go there Settings<\/em> and in System Setup<\/em> Enable the \u201cHas DC\u201d option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back to the Pages view, another information field \u201cDC Power\u201d has now appeared at the bottom center between the battery and MPPT controller symbol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now he knows too Victron Multiplus II<\/em>that in addition to its charging services, other eager helpers are involved in the battery charging process.
